So I bought a Wii…

This week I got a copy of The Legend of Zelda: Skyward Sword. Like some evil plot constructed by Nintendo’s own Miyamoto and Reggie I went out and bought a Wii (for the third time since its release for those keeping tabs.) So far I’ve put two hours into it and two things have stood out.

1. It’s looks like a painting. A (smudgy yet)beautiful painting.
2. It’s not very fun… so far. The pace is so slow, but I reckon it will get up to snuff.

To me Rayman has always been a B-list videogame character. The ludicrous Rabbids stole the spotlight from him in his recent ventures and I never expected him to make a comeback. And boy, what a glorious comeback it is! If you find the time between your hour-long Skyrim-sessions and ridiculous killstreaks in Modern Warfare 3 go out and buy this game (or at least try the demo.)
