To me Rayman has always been a B-list videogame character. The ludicrous Rabbids stole the spotlight from him in his recent ventures and I never expected him to make a comeback.

And boy, what a glorious comeback it is! If you find the time between your hour-long Skyrim-sessions and ridiculous killstreaks in Modern Warfare 3 go out and buy this game (or at least try the demo.)
